Primo Piazza Khao Yai: A Visitor Guide

By the Siam Stay Guide editorial team · Updated

Primo Piazza is one of Khao Yai’s best-known themed attractions: an Italian-style hilltop village with pastel buildings, cobbled squares, cafes and friendly farm animals. It is unashamedly made for photos and families, and it captures the playful side of the region.

Highlights

  • Italian-inspired architecture and squares with mountain backdrops
  • Animals to feed and meet, including sheep, alpacas and donkeys
  • Cafes and restaurants for a break
  • A popular stop for families and photographers

Visitor information

  • Location: Mu Si, Pak Chong district, on the western side of Khao Yai
  • Opening hours: previously reported as daily, 09:00–18:00
  • Admission: an entry fee applies, with reduced prices for children

Hours and fees change. Confirm with the attraction before visiting.

Best time to visit

Weekday mornings are quietest. Late afternoon light is lovely for photos, but leave enough time before closing. The cool season from November to February is the most comfortable time to walk around outdoors.

Getting there

Primo Piazza is best reached by car or with a driver. It pairs naturally with PB Valley Khao Yai Winery on the same side of the district.

Tips

  • Bring a hat and sunscreen. Much of the village is open to the sun.
  • Follow the staff’s instructions when feeding animals.
  • Expect crowds on weekends and holidays.
