Nimman Khaoyai is a private pool villa resort in Mu Si, the district that sits at the northern approach to Khao Yai National Park. It is built around a mix of single pool villas, larger duplex villas and very large multi-bedroom residences, which makes it unusual in the area: the same property can work for a couple’s weekend and for an extended family taking over a whole house.

The villas
Single Pool Villas: Mountain View and Canal View
The single pool villas are the resort’s core accommodation. Each has a private pool, and the villa area is listed at 147 square metres. You choose between two outlooks: the hills that frame this part of Mu Si, or the canal that runs through the grounds. These suit couples and solo travellers who want a private pool without paying for space they will not use.
Duplex Villa Mountain View
At around 256 square metres in total, the duplex villa adds a second level and considerably more living space. It suits couples who want room to spread out over a longer stay, or a small family travelling together.
Residential Suite Pool Villas: 4 and 5 bedrooms
These are the standouts. The four-bedroom residence is listed at 1,204 square metres and the five-bedroom version at 1,310 square metres. That is closer to a private estate than a hotel room. They are designed for multi-generational families, groups of friends and small celebrations where everyone wants to stay under one roof, with a private pool, while still having a restaurant and hotel staff on hand.
The resort does not publish pool dimensions. If swimming laps or pool depth for children matters to you, ask when you book.
Dining and facilities
Khaomon Restaurant serves from breakfast through to dinner (07:00–22:00), and Khaomon Bar opens from late morning (11:00–22:00). The pool deck is open from 07:00 to 22:00, and the lobby lounge is open 24 hours. A banquet hall and outdoor yards, including an exclusive private yard, make the property a realistic option for small private events. Ask the resort directly about capacities.
Khao Yai has one of Thailand’s most interesting dining scenes outside the big cities, so it is worth eating out at least once. See our guide to the best restaurants in Khao Yai, including Michelin Bib Gourmand picks nearby in Mu Si.
Who Nimman Khaoyai suits
- Couples looking for a private pool villa with a mountain or canal view. Our romantic retreats guide compares other options for couples.
- Families and groups who need several bedrooms together. The four- and five-bedroom residences are among the largest villa formats we have found in the area. Compare with our family-friendly resorts guide.
- Small private events, thanks to the banquet hall and private yard.
It is less suited to travellers who want the extensive facility lists of a large international resort, such as a kids’ club, golf course or multiple restaurants. For those, see luxury resorts near Khao Yai National Park.
Location and nearby attractions
Mu Si is the subdistrict on the northern side of the national park, which makes it a practical base for early starts. From here you can reach:
- Khao Yai National Park, via the northern (Pak Chong) gate on Thanarat Road
- Haew Suwat and Haew Narok waterfalls, inside the park
- Khao Yai Art Museum and Ban Tha Chang Spring, both in Mu Si
- The cafes and restaurants along Thanarat Road. See our cafe guide
Booking considerations
- Book directly through the official website or by phone. The property lists seasonal offers, so check what is currently available.
- Weekends, Thai public holidays and the November–February cool season are the busiest periods in Khao Yai.
- Confirm check-in and check-out times, breakfast inclusion and the number of guests each villa allows when you book.
