Not every luxury stay in Khao Yai is a pool villa. Some of the region’s best resorts are known for golf, spas, lakeside settings or extraordinary design, and offer pool villas as just one of several room types. This guide covers verified luxury resorts close to Khao Yai National Park, and who each one suits.
Details come from each property’s official information at the time of writing. We do not publish ratings or prices. Check current rates and inclusions directly with the resort.
InterContinental Khao Yai Resort

Kirimaya, whose name translates roughly as “magic of the mountains”, sits on the edge of the national park and is known for its golf course, which the resort associates with Jack Nicklaus. Room types include Plantation View and Horizon View rooms, dog-friendly rooms, Terrace Suites and a Tented Onsen Villa. The resort is about 130 km from Bangkok.

MUTHI MAYA Forest Pool Villa Resort
Area: next to Kirimaya, Mu Si · Official website (Kirimaya collection)
Kirimaya’s all-pool-villa sister property, set in forest with mountain views. Every villa has its own pool, with access to the Kirimaya golf course and Maya Spa.
- Best for: couples wanting privacy with resort facilities nearby
atta Lakeside Resort Suite
Area: beside Kirimaya, Mu Si · Official website (Kirimaya collection)
Also part of the Kirimaya collection, atta sits on the shore of a lake framed by forested hills. Accommodation is in suites rather than villas: One-Bedroom and Two-Bedroom Suites, “Delight” versions of each, and a Penthouse. The two-bedroom suites make it a sensible choice for families who want space without a private pool.
- Best for: families, nature lovers and golfers who prefer a suite to a villa
sala khaoyai

A hilltop boutique resort with deluxe rooms, private pool villas, onsen villas and a three-bedroom Signature Villa One with a rooftop pool. The hilltop restaurant and infinity pool face out over the countryside.

What “near the national park” really means
Resorts in Mu Si, including Kirimaya, MUTHI MAYA and atta on Road 3052, are among the closest to the northern (Pak Chong) gate. Pong Talong and Wang Kata properties are further away. Park gates open from 06:00 to 18:00, and wildlife is most active early in the morning, so a closer base makes dawn visits much easier. Read our Khao Yai National Park guide before you go.
