This privacy policy explains what information Siam Stay Guide (https://siamstayguide.life) collects, and how we use it.
Information we collect
Contact form
If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address and message. We use this only to reply to you, and we keep messages only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Messages are delivered by email to our editorial inbox.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, including which pages are visited and which outbound links are clicked. Analytics uses cookies and collects data such as device type, approximate location and pages viewed. IP anonymisation is enabled. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Server logs and caching
Our hosting provider, Hostinger, may record standard technical information such as IP addresses and browser type in server logs for security and performance.
Third-party services
- Google Fonts: fonts load from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
- Maps: our travel map uses OpenStreetMap tiles and the Leaflet library from unpkg.com. Links to Google Maps open Google’s service, subject to Google’s privacy policy.
- External websites: links to hotels, restaurants and other sites are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies. Analytics cookies, if enabled, are used only for aggregate statistics. Logged-in site administrators also receive WordPress functional cookies.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you have sent us. Contact us through our contact page. Where Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) or other laws apply, we will respond in line with them.
Children
This site is intended for adult travellers and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy, and will change the date at the top when we do.
